The operations of the manufacturing unit started on September 17, 2003 and since then Damayanti Tea has embarked on a glorious path of quality and hygienic tea manufacturing, utilising the latest state-of-the-art technologies.

Mr. Kishan Prithany, aged 44, is a dynamic entrepreneur whose vision, discipline, and diversified business acumen have shaped multiple successful ventures across Assam and beyond. A graduate in Commerce (B.Com) from Tinsukia College, Dibrugarh University, and an alumnus of Tinsukia English Academy, he brings both academic grounding and real-world insight into every enterprise he leads.
Mr. Prithany formally entered the world of business in 2004, beginning his journey in the steel and cement sector. His strong leadership and ability to adapt to evolving market landscapes soon led him to expand into new industries. He entered the tea business in 2009, followed by the construction sector in 2015, and most recently, the hospitality industry in 2024, steadily building a reputation as a forward-thinking, growth-driven business leader.

He is supported in his journey by his spouse, Mrs. Ishika Prithany, and together they remain rooted in their values while looking ahead to new possibilities.
Mr. Sunil Kumar Agarwala is far more than an entrepreneur — he embodies resilience, determination, and the remarkable journey of rising from modest beginnings to becoming a respected business leader. Educated in a vernacular-medium school in a small village in Assam, he has built his path through hard work, clarity of vision, and an unyielding commitment to progress. Over the years, Mr. Agarwala has successfully diversified his ventures across multiple sectors, including entertainment, malls, real estate, retail, and most significantly, tea. His leadership is marked by strategic thinking, bold expansion, and a deep understanding of emerging opportunities, which have collectively contributed to the sustained growth of his enterprises. Beyond his business accomplishments, Mr. Agarwala is a dedicated philanthropist with a strong sense of social responsibility. He has adopted four villages, actively working to uplift living conditions and support community development. His contribution to education is equally noteworthy — he has extended a valuable project grant to Dibrugarh University, benefiting the Departments of Sociology, Economics, and Statistics, and strengthening opportunities for academic research and student development.
